Human-Centered Tech Support in an Impersonal World
Non-technical people, especially older folks, have a rough go of it in the digital world. They’re forced to navigate a dangerous and ever-shifting cybersecurity landscape, getting bombarded by scams and snake-oil salesmen that, through surveillance technologies and AI, become more sophisticated with each passing year. Computer systems are constantly changing, often for no reason and without warning, forcing people to re-learn things they already knew how to do. And they’re expected to deal with this dangerous and surreal world with limited tech education, help, or empathy.
They deserve better. You deserve better. And I can help you learn how to navigate this world more easily, safely, comfortably, and confidently.
Who I Am
I’m a former software developer who left the industry because it was leaving too many people behind. My desire has always been to assist people, and so I’ve started this business to help folks, especially older ones, make their tech work for them.
What I do Differently
While I have ample technical skills, my biggest strengths are interpersonal. I bring an abundance of patience and empathy to everything I do, creating a supportive and non-judgmental atmosphere in which my clients can feel safe and at ease. I’m a very skilled communicator, expert at tailoring explanations to the individual and their way of thinking. And I strive not just to help people with their current problems, but set them up for confidence, safety, and success in the future, come what may.
